Pricing

Basic prices ( face/shoulders ) from € 3.000,- ( excluding frame )
Landscape prices on request.

For the following extra's a supplement will be charged:

• larger format.
• detailed backgrounds
• patterned clothing, relief, jewels etc.
• detailed objects in the foreground
• pets
• larger cutout model ( hands, half-length or full-length )
• multiple portraits: for each added person half of the basic price will be added on.

Studio

PROCEDURE

An initial brainstorm with the client will give an idea what the painting has to depict.
The artist usually requires just one hour sitting for a photo session. Sittings can take place either at the artist’s studio or at a location more convenient to the client.

Size

The place where the portrait will be hung is an important factor in determining the size.

Photo session

Rene Tweehuysen prefers to work from his own photographs.

concept sketch

After the first meeting a creative proces of sketching will develop the final concept sketch for the client. This pencil sketch will give a flavour of the finished painting. The client is shown and consulted about this sketch to ensure their approval. Once a final photograph and composition has been decided upon the painting process can start.

Viewing while work is in progress

While the painting is still being worked on it is possible to arrange a visit to view the work.
